After our initial meeting to discuss your renovation needs, the first step in our renovation process is to produce an 'as built' drawing of your home, drawn to scale. This creates a snapshot view of your existing layout which helps us to explore the possibilities that exist within your home. This working tool also helps us to identify any structural modifications that may be required.

Once we've produced a design that meets your needs, Acorn then produces a set of blueprints complete with elevations and mechanical requirements. These drawings are then used to produce a budget for your project. Because our blueprints contain exact specifications and requirements, our suppliers and trades are able to provide us with meaningful quotes and estimates. By eliminating the guessing that so often accompanies renovations Acorn is able to keep your renovation 'on budget'. It also helps to reduce the amount of stress that usually accompanies home renovations. Our clients feel 'in control' of the process.
